The polycystic ovarian syndrome is an endocrine disorder with a high prevalence affecting reproductive-aged women and adolescent girls. most common symptoms are infertility, numerous cysts, hyperandrogenism, menstrual cycle abnormalities. disease has great impact on patients, impairing their quality of life. Bearing that in mind, innovative therapeutic approaches needed. We aim to describe current management treatment concepts adopted PCOS therapy. analysis previously published studies was conducted by using the PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus databases.Mentioned show lifestyle changes may benefit therapy multiple ways. Dietary exercise interventions have notable influence women’s body composition as well biochemical parameters. reduction weight or BMI achievement likewise patients’ contribution managing PCOS. Pharmacotherapy provides plentiful choices adopt. Studies hormonal contraceptive significant both hyperandrogenism Metformin proven reduce BMI, improve LDL levels, lower risk OHSS undergoing IVF/ICSI-ET. A meta-analysis proved metformin’s monotherapy superiority over clomifene citrate combination treating infertility. However, substances not recommended first-line choice. Regrettably, many mention short evidence, lack larger sample sizes, insufficient duration preventing further research.The conclusion we draw constantly advancing updating. there necessity for future expand research gathering more data considering diverse cases.
